(WIFR) – Artificial intelligence could soon be used to help fight the country’s opioid crisis, according to researchers.
A research team with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health developed an AI screening tool to identify patients who may be more at risk for opioid use disorder. The tool can also recommend which patients may need referrals to inpatient addiction specialists.
