Nine different PS4 games are currently free and will be free until next week. None of them require one Playstation Plus subscription, and some of them are even PlayStation VR compatible. Until April 22nd at 8:00 p.m. local time – or in other words, for an additional six days at the time of this writing – all PS4 and PS5 players can download nine games for free without any conditions. None of the games are PS5 games, but all of them can be played on the computer through backward compatibility. Once downloaded, you can keep and play all nine games for as little or as much as you like.

In the meantime, April 19th is coming. Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition – what comes with the game Frozen wilderness Extension – is also done for free. And again, there are absolutely no strings or reservations associated with these freebies.

For those who didn’t know, Sony made each of these games free as part of its ongoing “Play at Home” initiative to encourage PlayStation players to stay home by giving them games to play during the ongoing pandemic. It was last year when the initiative started with a variety of giveaways, and this year Sony brought it back in an even bigger way.
