The news about climate change is usually grim, somber, and tinged with helplessness. However, there is good news to report: thanks to the Paris Climate Agreement, global efforts to combat climate change are progressing. The Paris Agreement was signed in 2015, and its main goal is to prevent the global temperature from rising by more than 2 degrees Celsius (above pre-industrial levels) this century. To date, 193 parties have joined the Paris Agreement. After new Results of scientists and academics, if all parties keep their promises, the Paris Agreement could be feasible and that is excellent news.

The technology industry should also play its part in combating climate change….
