Well that was 2021 and what a year for Xbox gamers. We saw the return of the Master Chief in an absolutely splendid way Halo infinite, got our engines going and started in the fantastic Playground Games across Mexico Forza Horizon 5 and traversed an amazingly detailed globe in Microsoft flight simulator.

It was, in short, a full year, and while the world as a whole may not have returned to normal, games bravely continued to offer us many opportunities to escape the chaos outside our doors. But what’s next? Well, a new year is here and we’ve put together a list of 30 great games coming to Xbox Series X and Series S in 2022, an intoxicating mix of great looking titles that we will delve into with you over the course of the next year.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction (Xbox Series X | S)

ONE Rainbow Six Siege Spin-off with alien infested levels, risk-win gameplay aspects, tons of gadgets and intense collaborative teamwork at its core? Count us. With agents returning from Siege now part of REACT, an anti-alien combat unit thrown in multi-target missions against clever Archaic enemies, it looks like it’s a mix of atmosphere, strategy, and refined cooperative action.

Techland’s Dying light was a consistently pleasant surprise when it launched in 2015, delivering a game that went way beyond what the developer had previously delivered with theirs Dead island Series. Here we were treated to fast-paced, eye-catching parkour action that included fantastic storytelling, somber backdrops, and some satisfying zombie kills. All of this means that we are very excited to get our hands on it Dying light 2, which is now only a few weeks away, and should prove to be an exciting sequel that further refines what was served in the original game and its excellent expansion, “The Following”.

The third entry in the Crossfire series and the first to appear on consoles CrossfireX In its free-to-play component, it promises a lot of Counter-Strike-like multiplayer quality and at the same time offers a completely new single-player cinema experience that was developed by none other than Remedy Entertainment.

It all looks pretty tasty so far and despite some of the first preview reactions wasn’t exactly scorching hot, we’re still excited to get in here to see what Smilegate and Remedy can conjure up together!

Is there anyone who isn’t trembling with excitement right now? FromSoftware can’t go wrong in our book and Elden ring seems to be developing into something very special. Thanks to the beta test a few weeks ago, many gamers have now gotten a taste of it, and all reports are saying this is another incredible piece of deliciously atmospheric gaming action only FromSoftware can deliver. Is it going to play a little too much like another Souls game? Probably, you know what, EXACTLY that’s why we’re so excited about it. Roll on February!

The newest entry in Codemasters’ popular NETWORK Racing series starts this February and brings a deep career mode with over 250 events, a fully featured story mode called “Driven to Glory”, cross-platform multiplayer and much more. There’s also a Race Creator feature that lets you “create adrenaline-fueled races to tear yourself apart with your friends”. With no signs of what is to come Forza Motorsport It looks like there will be a release soon GRID legends will be a great replacement in the meantime.

First announced in January 2018, tunic is an exquisite looking indie production starring an adorable little fox. While this isometric action-adventure looks very cute, it also has some soul-like elements, especially in its challenging combat.

We get heavy early Zelda vibes from what we’ve seen from Tunic so far with a little fez as an encore. With the game now out on March 16, it won’t be long before we finally get our hands on it.

Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep was a very well received spin-off from the Borderlands main series when it was released in 2013, and this sequel tries to improve the stake in every possible way. Tiny Tina’s wonderland is a direct sequel that takes place once again in a fantasy tabletop RPG world where Tina rules as the Dungeon Master, meaning you can change elements of the world in the blink of an eye.

It all looks appropriately rough, with endless OTT weapons, co-op for up to four players, procedurally generated loot, character creation, a flexible six-tier system that lets you mix skills for the first time in the series and another premiere and can combine melee weapons! We have, without a doubt, fans of the Borderland Franchise will look forward to getting their hands on this when it launches next March.

This has been updated Grand Theft Auto V. will take full advantage of the new consoles to give fans of the game the ultimate experience – that’s right, no more stuttering or stalling when changing characters! We can’t wait to dive back in and relive the warped world of Los Santos.

The LEGO range has been missing in action for a while lately, so we’re expecting LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Taking the time to shake up the series formula a little. It has already been indicated that this will be a fundamental rewrite of the LEGO Star Wars games, with more open exploration, a bigger roster of characters than ever before, and brand new game mechanics all built into the blocky mix. We really can’t wait to relive some of our favorite Star Wars brick-shaped moments when this one comes out next year.
