I’ve been using Windows 11 for many years now, but there are annoying drawbacks. After installing PowerToys, these annoyances were gone. For example, I couldn’t get my windows into the position I needed, previewing files was a hassle, and copying text from the web or screenshots brought along spacing and formatting I didn’t like. These setbacks weren’t dealbreakers for me, but together they wasted more time than I’d like to admit.
To deal with those three hassles, I installed Microsoft PowerToys on my main Windows 11 PC. After I installed it, three tools stood out: FancyZones to keep windows in place, Command Palette for quicker launching, and Advanced Paste for cleaner copy-and-paste. Those three tools erased enough of my day-to-day Windows 11 annoyances that I’ve kept PowerToys installed.
