Shares of software giant Oracle Corporation (ORCL) have been under pressure recently, with the stock posting double-digit losses in early 2026, as a growing list of concerns rattled investor confidence. Much of the investigation has focused on Oracle’s massive $300 billion partnership with OpenAI, which has fueled debate on Wall Street about the extent and risks of the company’s aggressive push into artificial intelligence (AI).

Investor concerns have increased as Oracle increases its capital spending to finance a massive buildout of AI infrastructure, particularly through new data centers.
