There used to be only three types of clouds: public, private and the nebulous hybrid cloud, which required a synthesis of the first two or one of them with on-premise resources depending on demand.

However, a number of recent developments have taken place to multiply the types of clouds and their purposes in the specialization that corresponds to the primacy of cloud computing in the contemporary data sphere.

The past two years have proven that the cloud is the essence of remote collaboration, providing resilience to distributed workspaces for organizations of all kinds the moment they needed those skills to stay up and running.
